Our story

The gap we set out to close

Omnium was founded in Oslo in 2017 by a team that had spent years digitizing retail from the inside. Project after project, they kept hitting the same wall: a widening gap between what retailers actually needed and what the leading software vendors were able to deliver. Stock that said one thing online and another in store. Orders that fell between the cracks of ecommerce, warehouse and shop floor. So the team set out to build something different: a single platform where every order, product, customer and fulfillment route lives on one shared source of truth, and where online and physical retail finally operate as one.

Omnium is now an official MACH Alliance member powering more than 80 live retailers across Europe, supporting over 2,000 Nordic stores and processing millions of orders a year. We are based in Oslo, and we help retailers wherever their customers are.
